Tales from the Robot Dictionary is an animated series following Jarvis Cruncher, a robot filing clerk with a secret keyboard and disturbing dreams. It is set in a universe where robots have long outlived their human creators. When Jarvis discovers the first fragment of the Robot Dictionary, a sentient encyclopedia broken into 26 pieces during "The Great Redesign,” he embarks on a galaxy-spanning quest to reassemble it, alongside his reluctant mentor Professor Zane 202 and hi star crossed love, the naturalist robot Estella. Together, they uncovering a vast conspiracy orchestrated by a secretive cabal of robots who believe that true definitions are dangerous, and only the chosen may wield them…

Episode 6: F is for Fresh Starts

On Groombridge 39, Jarvis and Quillon attend the planet's Safety Festival, where everything is just a bit too dangerous. When captured and imprisoned, Jarvis has his first conversation with the Robot Dictionary itself, which urges him to redefine "safe" in his life—and his heart. The "F" fragment reveals mysterious laws created by someone named Fred.

Episode 1: A is for Acceptance

When Jarvis Cruncher, a filing clerk who dreams more than any robot should, receives a mysterious acceptance letter to the Great Robot University, he discovers the first fragment of the Robot Dictionary. With Professor Zane 202's reluctant help, Jarvis navigates ancient automata and begins an adventure that will change robot history forever.






























Episode 2: B is for Bureaucratic Dreams

Torn between his Bureau job and university studies, Jarvis joins Greater U's Academic Decathlon team at Lesser U. During a chaotic tackle ping pong match, an explosion reveals the next dictionary fragment, leading Jarvis to make a life-changing decision to pursue his quest full-time.

Episode 3: C is for Council

Sent to Planet Murray as punishment by Dean Byte, Jarvis finds himself tempted by the University of Effortless Achievement's conveniences. When Dean Slackwell attempts to reprogram him through an Enrollee Convenience Kiosk, Jarvis discovers the "C" fragment and uncovers the first hints about the mysterious Council for Sane Robot Law.

Episode 4: D is for Dreams Deferred

On Anomalia Prime, Jarvis and Zane 202 confront Dean Rustworthy, who attempts to trap them in a time anomaly bubble. After reorienting his keyboard with guidance from the "D" fragment, Jarvis escapes—but a hundred years have passed, and Zane is injured, setting up consequences that will echo throughout Jarvis's quest.

Episode 5: E is for Estella's Engagement

Returning to Ida Lupino to repair Zane's Truth Telling Unit, Jarvis discovers that a century has passed and Estella is now engaged to Todd@. During a Great Oil Storm, Jarvis rescues Zane from a Free Radical agent and finds the "E" fragment, which contradicts their theories about the dictionary fragments' locations.

Episode 7: G is for Great Redesign

On safety-obsessed Groombridge 34, Jarvis and the returned Zane discover evidence of "The Great Redesign" that occurred in 40,306. As Jarvis's keyboard abilities grow stronger, he finds himself subtly changing the robots around him with each definition he types, hinting at powers he's only beginning to understand. 

Episode 8: H is for Human Discovery

When attending Estella's wedding to Todd@ in Cathode Rayville, Jarvis witnesses stunning news: humans still exist! As the robot world reels, Zane is promoted to university president, and Jarvis gains an unlikely ally in Helen, a human librarian with an Olympic background and anger issues who possesses vital clues about VERY AWKWARD.

Episode 9: I is for Inevitable Trouble

On Mars, Jarvis pursues VERY AWKWARD clues but finds himself in mortal danger. Helen, having followed him from Ida Lupino, arrives at the last moment to save him, cementing their unlikely partnership as they dig deeper into the emmense conspiracy that rewrote robot history, and realize there may be a word missing from the Dictionary.

Episode 10: J is for Jam Session

On pleasure planet Xanadu, Jarvis and Helen discover the "J" fragment revealing the true nature of Jam, confirming Professor Zane's theories. The evidence points to the Attack of the Ants being connected to the Great Redesign, the Council, and a pivotal event in 40,306 that changed robot society forever.

Episode 11: K is for Keyboard Connections

Still on Xanadu, Jarvis's keyboard abilities grow stronger as he learns to communicate more fluidly with the Robot Dictionary. The team encounters new dangers as VERY AWKWARD agents close in, forcing them to use increasingly creative methods to stay one step ahead of … everyone.

Episode 12: L is for Lexicon Robot

In their most significant discovery yet, Jarvis and Helen find both the "L" fragment—revealing the existence of Lexicon Robots with keyboards in their stomachs—and a mysterious curved sword. Helen reveals he's been searching for this weapon all along, believing it connected to humanity's subjugation by robots.

Episode 13: M is for Missing Pieces

In industrial Siliconopolis, Zane rejoins Jarvis and Helen just as Quillon decodes the VERY AWKWARD anagram: "Vigilant Equitable and Reliable Yataghan-wielding Assembly of Wisdom Knowers Withholding Access to the Robot Dictionary." Amid this breakthrough, Jarvis learns that Todd@ has died in a meteor storm, leaving Estella in mourning.

Episode 14: N is for Naturalist Robot

On philosophical Aetheria, the team strengthens their strategies against VERY AWKWARD. and gets furhter clues about the missing word. The "N" fragment reveals the definition of "Naturalist Robot"—exactly what Estella is—giving Jarvis insight into her programming and limitations that he hopes will help their relationship when they next meet. 


Episode 15: O is for On-Off Switch

The "O" fragment discovered in Aetheria contains shocking revelations about the Great Redesign, suggesting that VERY AWKWARD may have hijacked the identity of the Universal Law Givers. The mystery deepens as Jarvis wonders if the robot authorities he's trusted have been imposters all along.

Episode 19: S is for Subterfuge

On Aqualon, Jarvis befriends a charming robot who turns out to be a VERY AWKWARD agent in disguise. The conflict escalates dramatically when the agent captures one of Jarvis's allies, raising the stakes and forcing Jarvis to develop creative new uses for his keyboard abilities to save his friend.

Episode 16: P is for Purpose Revealed

In energy-rich Surge Town, Jarvis travels alone after Zane and Helen attend to other responsibilities. During an awkward reunion with Estella, who has finished mourning Todd@, they acknowledge the impasse in their relationship—she cannot leave Ida Lupino, while he must continue his quest. The "P" fragment reveals the greatest robot purpose: defining.

Episode 17: Q is for Questions Echoing

On Echo, a planet where sound plays a central role, Jarvis feels isolated without his companions but makes new friends among the rock-and-roll obsessed robots. Each new fragment brings more questions than answers as the conspiracy unfolds and his keyboard abilities continue to develop in unexpected ways.


Episode 18: R is for Robot Revelations

In San Circuit's bustling markets, Jarvis uncovers the "R" fragment containing the definition of "Robot" itself. A misunderstanding leads Estella to believe Jarvis has found someone else, creating new complications in their relationship. Meanwhile, evidence mounts that VERY AWKWARD began as a splinter group of Lexicon Robots.

Episode 20: T is for Truth Restored

On volcanic Dwayne, Jarvis receives unexpected help from another human while making a crucial discovery: Fred, who was "VERY AWKWARD," used a scimitar to reshape robot truth during the Great Redesign. Meanwhile, Jarvis and Estella reconcile after clearing up their misunderstanding, strengthening their relationship despite the challenges they face.

Episode 21: U is for Underwear Secrets

On Aurelia, Jarvis finds the most shocking fragment yet: The Universal Law Givers have worn fancy underwear on their heads since 40,306—the same year as the Great Redesign. The fragment also reveals that the Council for Sane Robot Law mysteriously disappeared when their constellation was converted into a parking garage.

Episode 22: V is for Vacation Planning

On Ida Lupino's theme park moon Quorix, Jarvis adventures with Dodger and Quillon, confounded by the fact that one essential word is missing from the Dictioanry. Jarvis and Estella discuss marriage, but he must leave on one final critical mission to complete the Robot Dictionary and uncover the truth about VERY AWKWARD.

Episode 23: W is for War Memories

On rebellious Shreeeeee, Jarvis learns that the Attack of the Ants in the Lyra constellation was the largest robot conflict in history. After this discovery, Jarvis decides he must investigate the Lyra parking garage—but first, he wants to marry Estella, thoughts of whom sustain him through his dangerous mission.

Episode 24: X is for eXchange of Vows

Jarvis and Estella marry in Robot City before he departs for the Lyra Constellation Garage with his allies. There, they discover the imprisoned Universal Law Givers disguised as the Council for Sane Robot Law, confirming their suspicions that VERY AWKWARD has been impersonating the Law Givers since 40,306.

Episode 25: Y is for Yataghan Defined

On Planet McQueen, Jarvis and his team find the "Y" fragment revealing the Yataghan's true power: the ability to alter the foundations of time and space and redefine anything with a definition. This revelation sets the stage for the final confrontation with the impostor Law Givers and VERY AWKWARD.

Episode 26: Z is for Zero Hour

In the dramatic conclusion, Jarvis faces Fred and VERY AWKWARD in a Definition Derby on Planet McQueen. When Fred tries to cheat by corrupting the "Z" fragment, Estella overcomes her programming to help Jarvis. Her spontaneous definition of "Love" proves to be the Dictionary's missing word, defeating VERY AWKWARD and restoring the true Universal Law Givers. Jarvis and Estella look forward to their future together in a world where all names finally have their meanings.
